 Bel Air Camera was established in 1957 by William and Maria Herskovic when they came to America from Belgium and opened a store in Westwood Village. William had many years of experience in the retail business operating one of the largest camera stores and portrait studios in Belgium. He believed in the principle of establishing an ongoing relationship with his customers by giving them excellent service at discount prices. While new customers enter the store daily, continued fine service to established customers keeps them coming back.
Today this principle has not changed as we offer the same great service and prices to our online customers.

Established in 1983 in the state of Maine, Beach Camera and Electronics was relocated to Green Brook New Jersey in 1991. A 7,000-square-foot retail showroom services the New Jersey photographic marketplace while a booming mail-order business catered to the entire country
We have been at the forefront of the digital imaging revolution since it first exploded onto the scene in the 1990's. Our rapid rate of growth made it necessary for us to expand our facility in order to better serve our customers, so in 2004, our corporate offices and mail-order operation moved to Edison New Jersey.
