During its first season, Boss Models Cape Town landed top editorial jobs including Arena (United Kingdon), Esquire (United Kingdom), Elle (South Africa), Elle Man (South Africa), Cosmopolitan (South Africa), GQ (Spain), Marie Claire (France), Amica (Germany), and more. Immediately following the opening of the agency in October 1996, Boss Models Cape Town was the centerpiece of a one-hour television special on E! Entertainment Television called Sizzling South Africa.
