Description: In this workshop, Zoe will share her knowledge of how to use a Holga camera (a $20 plastic camera) to expand your artistic expression. Using 120 roll film to a variety of Polaroid film types, learn what you can do with this low-tech camera. This workshop will enable you to control the mysterious look and feel that this wonderful camera creates.
Topics of the class include;
• The basics of working with 120 film in the Holga
•Situations where it works well and situations in which it doesn't
•How to shoot panoramic images, to get almost macro images, and to use filters with Holga
•Shooting Holga with a Polaroid back - the Polaroid film types you can use
•Shooting with Polaroid Type 85 Positive/Negative - the only Polaroid type that will give you a negative to work with
•Making a fine print by manipulating negatives in Photoshop
•And many more little tricks
A week after the workshop, Zoe welcomes class participants to send their Holga photos to her via email for critique.
